Most of us thought that they were steroids, but in fact these substances are xenoandrogens: modified tocopherols and tocotrienols that are classified as legal substances in sports supplements.

We still don’t know if xenoandrogens inhibit natural testosterone production although studies have suggested this. Xenoandrogens are used today as a substitute for steroids by the public and some athletes from various federations. (NAC and WBFF)
